D’you know i wasn’t sure what it was. It’s definitely not a hamster (which I’m thinking of getting regardless of that picture) but it doen’t look like the classic mongolian gerbil either, not with that bit at the nose. Must be a different type of gerbil.

Seems to be a Burmese gerbil. too much information I know! but I used to know everything about pets. Had to look it up.
